We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and committed Teacher of Languages to join the MFL team on a temporary basis for a 1-year contract. Guiseley School is passionate about its languages department, and we're looking for an individual who shares our commitment to excellence and achieving the very best for all our students. The successful candidate will have a passion for languages and will work alongside a team of specialised teachers to ensure we challenge our students appropriately. The specialism for this role is Spanish.
The role is offered on a full-time, temporary basis, 32.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday, as maternity or parental leave cover, and covers Key stages 3, 4 and 5. Start date: 1 January 2027. Flexible working arrangements can be considered and discussed for the right candidate.

We are interested in applications from both ITT students wishing to begin their careers at Guiseley School and substantive staff who are keen to further their experience with us. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, have a good knowledge of the national curriculum and be keen to contribute to wider aspects of school life. The specialism for this role is Spanish.
The post is suitable for early career teachers. The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK: visas cannot be sponsored.
