English Teacher - Secondary Schools - MerseysideLocation: Merseyside Start Date: Immediate Contract: Short-Term & Long-Term Opportunities Subject: English Pay: £150+ per day
Tradewind Education is recruiting English Teachers to work across a range of supportive secondary schools throughout Merseyside. We have a variety of short-term and long-term opportunities available, making this an ideal option whether you are looking for a temporary teaching role, a longer-term placement or your next permanent position. As an English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop their reading, writing, communication and analytical skills.
The Role- Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching English Language and Literature.
- Preparing students for GCSE examinations.
- Following existing schemes of work and lesson plans where appropriate.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Building strong relationships with students and encouraging positive attitudes towards learning.
- Working collaboratively with the English department and wider school team.
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching English within a secondary school.
- Be confident teaching across KS3 and KS4.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be passionate about English and committed to raising student achievement.
- Build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.
