The Role

Teacher of Chemistry

St Aloysius' College is Scotland's only Jesuit school, located in the heart of Glasgow. The College values academic excellence and a diverse community, offering support for student development.

The Chemistry department achieves outstanding results and is well resourced, with eight teachers and two technicians across nine modern laboratories.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be confident teaching Chemistry at all levels up to and including Higher. Experience teaching Biology at certificate level is desirable to meet flexibility needs. The candidate will develop and deliver engaging lessons, fostering enthusiasm for science at all ages.

The candidate will pursue varied pedagogical approaches, develop resources to support lessons, and participate in continuous life long professional learning to improve their knowledge and skills.
