Start: February Half Term 3-Form Entry 4 or 5 Days per Week
About the roleEngage Education is working with a well-established 3-form entry primary school in Mitcham that is looking to appoint a Year 6 Teacher from February half term.
This is a key role within the school, so prior Year 6 experience is essential, particularly around SATs preparation and end-of-key-stage expectations. The position is available 4 or 5 days per week, offering some flexibility for the right teacher.
The school has a supportive leadership team, strong structures in place, and a collaborative Year 6 team. You'll be expected to hit the ground running and maintain high standards through the spring and summer terms.
Ideal candidate will have- Full QTS
- Previous Year 6 teaching experience
- Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment
- Confident behaviour management
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities
- A clear, organised approach to planning and delivery
