Job Description
Tax Senior Manager - Transaction Advisory (Top 10 Firm)
Limerick City Hybrid (Post-Probation) €75,000 - €85,000 + Competitive Package
A leading Top 10 accounting and advisory practice is looking to hire a Tax Senior Manager to join their growing advisory team in Limerick City. This role will suit a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a consultancy-led environment, working across transaction support, due diligence, structuring, and technical advisory.
This is not a compliance-heavy position - instead, the focus is on providing expert tax insight to clients navigating complex transactions, acquisitions, disposals, and restructures.
What You'll Be Doing:- Leading and managing a portfolio of advisory-led tax engagements, with a strong emphasis on transactional work (buy- and sell-side DD, purchase order reviews, tax structuring).
- Supporting corporate clients and internal teams on a wide range of tax advisory matters including M&A, reorganisations, and inbound/outbound investments.
- Acting as a key technical point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear, strategic tax guidance.
- Reviewing technical reports, identifying risk areas, and providing practical recommendations in line with current legislation and commercial objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Corporate Finance, Audit, and Legal on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Coaching and developing junior members of the team while contributing to internal technical training initiatives.
- ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified, with 6+ years' experience in a corporate tax or advisory role within a Top 10 or large mid-tier practice.
- Demonstrable expertise in transactional tax advisory, including due diligence, structuring, and risk review.
- A high level of technical knowledge with strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills - able to explain complex tax issues to non-specialists in a clear and concise way.
- A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
- Salary: €75,000 - €85,000, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working model after probation (typically 3 days in office).
- Defined career progression within a structured, national practice environment.
- Exposure to a wide variety of high-quality advisory work across multiple industries.
- A collaborative team culture, with access to senior leaders and continued investment in your technical development.
