The role

As Tax Senior, you'll manage a portfolio of personal tax clients and act as a trusted point of contact, delivering accurate, timely and practical advice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Preparing and reviewing personal and trust tax returns
  • Ensuring HMRC filing and payment deadlines are met
  • Providing tax planning advice and identifying tax-saving opportunities
  • Liaising with HMRC on client enquiries and compliance matters
  • Supporting clients with tax investigations and enquiries
  • Assisting managers with complex tax advisory projects
  • Monitoring changes in tax legislation and sharing relevant updates
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships

About you

You'll have at least two years' experience preparing tax returns and be confident communicating with both clients and colleagues.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Confident communicating complex information clearly
  • Proactive, approachable and committed to excellent client service

Formal qualifications are not essential, although ACCA, ACA or ATT part-qualified candidates are particularly welcome.

What we offer

  • £30,000-£40,000 salary, depending on experience

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Core hours of 10:00 am-4:00 pm
