Tax Senior

My client in Carlow is currently seeking an experienced Tax senior to join their busy practice. As a Tax Senior, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. You'll manage a diverse client portfolio, mentor junior staff, and support a management team that encourages initiative and professional development. Responsibilities

• Managing and reviewing tax compliance work across a varied portfolio of personal and corporate clients.
• Preparing and filing income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and other relevant returns.
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects across multiple sectors.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering practical, value-added tax advice.

Requirements

• Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in an Irish practice.
• Strong experience in a practice environment, covering both tax compliance and advisory work.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Irish taxation and relevant legislation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships.
• A passion for delivering exceptional client service and supporting team development.
