The Role

As Tax Semi Senior, you'll work closely with senior members of the tax team, supporting both compliance and advisory work for a broad mix of corporate and private clients. You'll gain exposure to complex and rewarding assignments while developing your technical skills and confidence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
• Supporting senior advisors on a range of tax advisory projects
• Conducting research into tax legislation and preparing reports and summaries
• Liaising with HMRC and handling client correspondence
• Assisting with business reorganisations, share transactions, and tax planning projects
• Preparing technical documentation and maintaining client records
• Developing your knowledge through on the job training and mentoring

This is a varied and client facing role that offers early exposure to advisory work and the chance to learn from experienced professionals.

About You

You'll be enthusiastic, organised, and keen to build a career in tax within a supportive, professional environment.

You will:

• Have experience in tax within an accountancy practice (though strong trainees will be considered)
• Be AAT, ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA part-qualified or looking to begin studying
• Have a genuine interest in tax and problem solving
• Possess strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Be confident using Excel and familiar with accounting or tax software
• Have a proactive attitude and a desire to learn and progress
• Have a genuine desire to succeed - not just through qualifications, but by continually developing your knowledge, skills, and client relationships
