The Role

As Tax Semi Senior, you'll support the delivery of high quality personal and corporate tax compliance while gaining experience across more advanced advisory work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns
• Assisting with client portfolios and ensuring deadlines are met
• Handling HMRC correspondence and supporting the resolution of client queries
• Assisting with tax planning work, including capital gains, inheritance tax, and basic advisory tasks
• Preparing supporting schedules, working papers, and calculations
• Maintaining accurate tax records and documentation
• Learning from senior team members and contributing to a positive team culture

This role offers excellent exposure and training across compliance and advisory areas.

About You

You'll be enthusiastic, organised, and keen to grow your tax career within a supportive team.

You will:

• Be studying ATT, part qualified CTA, or have relevant tax experience in a UK practice
• Have a basic understanding of UK tax compliance (personal and/or corporate)
• Be comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues
• Have strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
• Be able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
• Be proactive, eager to learn, and open to taking on new responsibilities
• Have experience using tax software or accounting systems (desirable but not essential)

A positive attitude and a willingness to develop are key.
