Tax Reporting Accountant - IFRS, US GAAP - this is a long term contractvacancy for our Zurich based client in the Pharma sector.

Your tasks:

• Manage and advise on tax matters in a selection of European countries, including Eastern Europe
• Lead and coordinate corporate income tax compliance, audits and defence activities within the region
• Collaborate with global and local finance teams to assess tax implications for transactions and provide quality support
• Monitor legislative changes impacting taxation and communicate these to the relevant teams
• Oversee transfer pricing adjustments and documentation, and review contracts from a tax perspective

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience in Corporate Tax Reporting (non - VAT) preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or a Big 4 firm
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and fiscal frameworks in relevant European countries, especially Eastern Europe
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS (IFRS 12 preferred), US GAAP and Swiss GAAP
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting for income taxes and tax compliance processes
• Language skills: English - MUST - German (intermediate)
• Public accounting experience
• University degree in accounting, finance, law or equivalent, ideally with specialization in taxation
• CPA and/or certification as tax specialist (in line with regional industry standards)
