Are you an experienced TAR Planner with a proven background in the oil and gas industry? We're hiring for an immediate onshore opportunity to support a major asset turnaround project over a 3 month period based in Aberdeen.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Developing detailed Level 4/5 Turnaround (TAR) or Major Outage plans.
- Collaborating with TAR Teams, scope owners, and offshore staff to gather critical information.
- Building pre and post work plans aligned with asset planning processes.
- Assigning accurate resources for core crews, trades, and specialist vendors.
- Generating POB resource histograms and managing flight requirements.
- Tracking and communicating project growth, baseline variations, and critical path impacts.
- Delivering key project tools and reports: lookaheads, daily updates, S-curves, critical path plans.
Applicants to this role require:
- Previous experience planning TARs in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficient with Primavera P6 (resource levelling essential).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
- Able to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
- A confident communicator who builds strong working relationships across Onshore, Offshore, and Vendor Teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Desirable (but not essential):
- SAP (PM Module) experience.
- Familiarity with risk analysis tools (e.g., Pertmaster).
