Location: This is a hybrid role where you'll be based from home with some travel for meetings. Candidates must be based in the South East or South West of England.
We're sharing this opportunity across a number of job boards and in a number of locations to reach as many potential applicants as possible. However, this is one single position - so wherever you see it, it's the same great role.
The roleWe're looking for a Talent Strategy and Resourcing Manager to lead and deliver high-quality recruitment and talent work across a diverse client base. This is a fast paced, hands on role where you'll balance leading a small team with delivering recruitment yourself. You'll stay close to the detail, working on complex and often senior hires, while ensuring everything we do is structured, effective and delivers real impact for clients.
At Fitzgerald, we don't operate as a traditional recruitment agency. Our approach is consultative and values led - we work closely with clients to improve how they attract, hire and retain people, not just fill roles.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead a small team of Resourcing and Talent Specialists, whilst also owning recruitment delivery across a portfolio of clients, working on complex and often senior hires, with C suite and specialist roles a key focus. Our work spans a wide range of sectors, including professional services, film/media, energy, family offices and charities. You'll work closely with our People Partnering and specialist teams to deliver joined up support.
As well as delivering recruitment, you'll play a key role in shaping talent strategies, helping clients move from reactive hiring to more structured, planned and scalable approaches.
Your work will include:
- Leading and developing a small team - providing coaching, support and clear expectations
- Owning end to end recruitment delivery across multiple clients, ensuring campaigns are well run, efficient and deliver strong outcomes
- Leading complex and senior hiring, including C suite roles, providing confidence and quality at critical points
- Managing team capacity and workload, ensuring delivery is balanced, sustainable and commercially effective
- Contributing to commercial performance - through billable delivery, proposals and new opportunities
- Designing practical talent and workforce plans, helping clients move to more proactive hiring approaches
- Reviewing and improving client's recruitment processes to make them simpler, fairer and more effective
- Embedding inclusive hiring practices and strong candidate experience
- Owning and optimising the use of our ATS (Pinpoint), ensuring it is used effectively across the team
- Working closely with colleagues across Fitzgerald to deliver a seamless, high quality client experience
You're an experienced recruitment and talent professional who combines hands on delivery with strategic thinking. You're confident leading others, building strong client relationships and improving how recruitment works - not just delivering roles, but helping clients build better, more effective talent approaches.
You'll bring:
- Strong experience delivering end to end recruitment, either in house or within a consultancy environment
- Experience working on complex or senior hires, ideally including executive level roles
- Confidence on advising on recruitment strategy and improving hiring processes
- Good understanding of workforce planning and longer term talent strategy
- Knowledge of employment law, right to work and global mobility in recruitment context
- Experience creating and facilitating assessment approaches
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- A structured, organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
You'll be someone who:
- Has strong commercial awareness - understanding how recruitment supports wider business performance
- Takes ownership and follows things through
- Cares about quality and getting the detail right
- Is comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment
You'll need to be UK based, hold a driving licence, and be happy to travel in line with our hybrid working approach.
The PerksWe might be biased, but we think this role is exciting, purposeful, and full of opportunity. And because we like to look after our people, here's what you can look forward to when you join us:
- Competitive salary of circa £60,000 - £65,000 FTE per annum
- 25 days' annual leave to start, rising to 27 after one year and 29 after two years, plus bank holidays
- Career development and support for professional qualifications
- Monthly homeworking allowance and all equipment provided
- Flexible working patterns to support a healthy work life balance
- Life assurance at four times basic salary

- Shopping discounts platform, flu vaccinations, and technology and cycle to work schemes
- Health and wellbeing benefits, including EAP and health cash plan
- Enhanced family leave
- Unlimited remote GP appointments available 24/7
- A growing, progressive business with people at its heart
