We want to change that. We're looking for someone to help us do it from a talent perspective.
The RoleWe are looking for someone who will fundamentally change how QuantSpark shows up in the technical talent market, and who will reinvent how we recruit from the inside out.
Two things sit at the heart of this role:
1. Turn QuantSpark into a net attractor of talent. You'll own our employer brand end-to-end - the voice, the story, the content, the community presence. You'll be our evangelist: at meetups, conferences, panels, on LinkedIn, on stage. You make the right people want to work here before we've even opened a vacancy.
2. Pioneer AI-native recruitment. You'll work closely with our technical team to embed AI and modern tooling across the administrative side of hiring - scheduling, templating, content generation, scorecards, pipeline tracking. The admin disappears into the background so your time goes where it matters: meeting people, telling our story, and making judgement calls only humans can make.
You'll also, of course, be a brilliant recruiter - because none of this matters if the fundamentals aren't there.
What You'll Own Employer Brand & Storytelling- Lead QuantSpark's employer brand strategy from concept to execution - defining our voice, our narrative, and how we differentiate in a crowded technical talent market.
- Create content that actually gets read and shared: LinkedIn, job boards, campaigns, case studies, employee stories, video - whatever makes us memorable.
- Partner with our marketing team so employer brand and company brand move together.
- Champion the candidate experience as a brand touchpoint - from first impression to first day.
- Actively represent QuantSpark at tech meetups, data and AI conferences, university events, and industry panels. We want you out there, not just online.
- Identify, propose, and lead QuantSpark-hosted events and thought leadership moments that put us on the map.
- Build real, long term relationships with technical communities - not a database of contacts.
- Bring the rest of the business with you: your job isn't to be the only person in the room - it's to make sure the right QuantSparkers are there alongside you.
- Design and embed AI across the administrative machinery of hiring - scheduling, templating, content drafts, screening workflows, scorecards, pipeline tracking, reporting. If it's admin, we want it automated.
- Partner closely with our technical leaders: this is a team sport, and the tooling is moving fast.
- Hold a clear line: AI is for process, not for interviewing. The moments that matter - sensing fit, closing a candidate, telling our story - stay human.
- Stay genuinely curious: experiment, measure, share what works, and be the person the rest of the business learns from on AI in recruitment.
- Own end-to-end recruitment across consulting, product, data engineering, software development, DevOps, and AI/ML disciplines at all levels.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines so we're never starting from zero.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand what they really need - and translate that into sharp briefs and smarter hiring processes.
- Design and continuously refine our assessment approach, balancing rigour with a candidate experience that reflects who we are.
- Coach hiring managers to be excellent ambassadors for QuantSpark throughout the process - and in their own networks.
- Bring market intelligence and honest recruitment advice to the table.
- Help us think differently about how we attract under represented groups in tech.
You are probably someone who:
Is a genuinely excellent recruiter- Has a proven track record of placing exceptional technical talent - ideally across product, engineering, data, DevOps, or AI/ML disciplines - in environments where hiring is hard and you don't have a brand name to lead with.
- Keeps tech enough to hold a credible conversation with a senior engineer and a hiring manager.
- Is a skilled sourcer who doesn't wait for inbound: you map markets, build pipelines, and craft outreach that gets a response.
- Designs structured interview processes and scorecards that assess capability and cultural contribution.
- Fluent across the talent tech stack: LinkedIn Recruiter, Cord, JuiceBox, ATS, and the modern tooling that makes recruitment faster and better.
- Writes brilliantly - a LinkedIn post, a job ad, or a candidate message that actually gets read and responded to.
- Is comfortable presenting, speaking at events, or striking up a conversation with a senior engineer at a meetup.
- Has an instinct for tone and brand: knows what sounds authentic and what sounds like everyone else.
- Is energised by the idea of putting QuantSpark on the map.
- Experiments with AI as a matter of habit and builds workflows that save time and raise quality.
- Can point to examples of where you've redesigned a process around AI - or is visibly hungry to.
- Understands where AI helps and where it doesn't: you'll never let automation replace the human judgement and warmth that makes candidates choose us.
- Thinks like a builder: if the tool you need doesn't exist, you'll work with our technical team to make one.
- Influences rather than just informs. Hiring managers trust your judgement.
- Manages multiple searches in parallel without dropping quality or candidate experience.
- Brings data and market insight into hiring conversations.
- Is a free thinker - happy to challenge how things have always been done, and bring an ambitious point of view to the table.
