Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are delighted to confirm that we are seeking applications for the position of Talent Acquisition Specialist. Based at Dublin Airport and reporting to the Head of People & Culture, this is a Maternity Leave contract.

Responsibilities

• Plan, co-ordinate and project manage our high-volume annual recruitment campaigns for cabin crew, flight crew and engineering
• Short-listing applications, conducting competency-based interviews and assessments, providing timely feedback to candidates, clients and recruitment agencies
• Reviewing and updating job descriptions.
• Build strong relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of their business areas
• Partner closely with our 3rd party recruitment provider to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of the recruitment campaign
• Provide regular status update reports and metrics to leadership team
• Complete ad-hoc project work as required to achieve TA team objectives
• You will manage the on-boarding process, to include background checks, access cards, security clearance and mandatory induction training.

About you

The successful candidate must:

• Have a primary degree in Human Resources or a related area and ideally be a member of the CIPD.
• Previous experience recruiting within aviation/crew recruitment desirable
• Have the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships.
• Be comfortable in advising and assisting line managers and colleagues on employee relations issues as and when they arise
• Be an ambitious, agile and honest individual committed to teamwork and excellence.
• Have proven work experience, at least 2 years, as an HR advisor with recruitment exposure or similar role
• Be practical and logical.
• Flexibility is key, as is a person who can think outside of the box, identify opportunities for improvement and provide solutions.
