Overview

BDO is an accountancy and business advisory firm that supports entrepreneurial organisations across the UK. The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is part of the HR team, focused on attracting and engaging top talent to strengthen BDO's growing workforce.

Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in your assigned business area. Your responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, recruitment strategy design, and managing third party suppliers. You will work closely with Direct Sourcing colleagues, identifying opportunities for enhancing delivery and expanding services offered to clients.

You will collaborate with senior managers, directors, and partners, communicate regularly, and advocate for innovative resourcing solutions that support long term hiring needs.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an in house talent acquisition role within professional services or another regulated sector such as financial services
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to constructively challenge, influence others, and support positive change while maintaining strong relationships
  • Good business acumen and commercial understanding, with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • A solutions focused approach, prioritising effectively, making sound decisions and supporting positive outcomes
  • Up to date understanding of employment law as it applies to resourcing and recruitment
  • Confidence using data to support decisions, provide insight and influence outcomes with stakeholders
