- Hybrid working: 3-4 days a week in the office (flexibility required for UK travel)
Oakleaf Partnership are working with a leading Law Firm with a good reputation. They are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their high-performing HR & Learning team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of fee-earner and flexible legal resourcing recruitment, partnering with senior stakeholders and playing a key role in delivering the firm's growth strategy.
You'll work closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition to develop and deliver a market-leading recruitment approach, strengthen employer brand positioning and ensure a best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. This is a fantastic chance to shape strategy, build trusted relationships and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What is the role:
- Develop and deliver effective recruitment strategies for legal and flexible resourcing teams.
- Proactively source high-performing passive talent and strengthen talent pipelines.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple practice areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Champion direct hiring, reduce agency dependency and oversee supplier relationships.
- Act as a subject matter expert on legal/professional services recruitment trends and market conditions.
- Utilise recruitment tech to drive process improvements and reporting.
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience, with robust due diligence and compliance.
- Coach and support junior team members, promoting a high-performance culture.
- Embed diversity and inclusion throughout recruitment and selection.
- Contribute to wider people projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Significant Talent Acquisition experience within law firms (non negotiable)
- Experience of recruiting for Fee Earners is a distinct advantage
- Strong understanding of legal recruitment markets, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven experience delivering direct hiring and managing agency relationships.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Strong working knowledge of recruitment processes
- Organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and a passion for driving best practice in talent acquisition.
