Description C10 Labs is looking to add a Head of Talentto our team. You'll be the go-to architect of our talent strategy, from sourcing top-tier founders and executives to identifying specialized technical talent for AI-driven ventures. You'll work closely with the studio leadership, founders, and advisors to design hiring processes, craft compelling outreach, and cultivate a talent network that fuels rapid growth.

You won't just fill roles-you'll shape the DNA of our ventures.

This will be a contract role with the potential to convert full time.
What you'll do:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for both studio hires and portfolio company talent, including executives, engineers, data scientists, and operational leaders.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify high-potential candidates across startup, academic, and corporate ecosystems.
• Build and manage a talent network, nurturing long-term relationships with top AI and entrepreneurial talent.
• Partner with founders to understand their hiring needs, define role requirements, and advise on talent strategy.
• Design and optimize recruiting processes for speed, quality, and candidate experience.
• Leverage data to track recruiting performance and inform continuous improvement.
• Champion our brand in the talent market through hosting events and thinking through opportunities for engagement with the community.
• Own the recruiting process working closely with our legal team to ensure proper documentation for C10 and our ventures and researching market trends in areas like compensation, talent mapping, etc.

Who you are:

• 5+ years in recruiting/talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in startup or high-growth tech environments.
• Proven ability to hire technical talent (AI/ML, engineering, data science) and senior leadership.
• Experience building recruiting processes from scratch in lean environments.
• Strong sourcing skills and experience keeping a talent pipeline engaged.
• Experience evaluating and building up systems to support hiring demand and the organizations needs.
• Excellent storytelling and outreach abilities-you can inspire top candidates to take the leap.
• Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid scaling needs.
• A deep network in AI, tech, or venture ecosystems is a plus.
