Talent Acquisition Lead - Northern Hemisphere

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead (Northern Hemisphere) for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract to join our People & Culture team. The position is based in the UK, with potential for extension or a permanent role beyond the initial term.
In this role, you will report to the Head of People & Culture and will own the recruitment process for the Northern Hemisphere (EMEA and AMER). As a trusted business partner, working strategically with stakeholders, you will ensure we attract and retain top talent in the market.
The ideal candidate may have experience as an HR generalist, contributing to the EMEA People & Culture function. This includes participating in strategic and cyclical initiatives and advising on People matters across the employee lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities - Northern Hemisphere Talent Management- Partner with leaders to successfully recruit top talent for Squiz teams in the Northern Hemisphere.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: briefing, sourcing, screening, assisting in interviews, and managing candidate experience and offers.
- Collaborate with the People & Culture Team to develop talent strategies and improve candidate experience.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
- Organize recruitment activities and events to enhance employer branding.
- Review roles and skills requirements to meet business objectives and ensure impactful roles.
- Develop internal mobility and succession planning strategies.
- Implement workforce planning to anticipate hiring needs.
- Define metrics for recruitment success.
- Train and guide leaders in effective interviewing and talent acquisition strategies.
- Experience partnering with Technology stakeholders is highly regarded.
- Credibility as a talent acquisition expert who inspires confidence in the business.
- Data-driven mindset to support decision-making.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to motivate others and foster a positive experience.
- Understanding of employer branding and its importance.

- (Ideal) Experience with cyclical People & Culture processes, organizational design, and managing complex ER cases.
- (Ideal) Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
Location: London or Edinburgh (with access to the office 1-2 times per week)
