KS2 Teaching Assistant / LSA - Hatfield, HertfordshireImmediate Interviews Start Date: 12th October Full-Time £95-£110 per day 8.30am-3.30pm

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant / LSA to join a welcoming primary school in Hatfield. This full-time role starts on 12th October and involves providing 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with SEN needs, including additional learning and behavioural support, during the mornings, before moving into a general classroom TA role in the afternoons, supporting small groups and individual pupils.

The Role

Morning: Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with SEN, helping them access learning and develop confidence and independence.

Afternoon: Work as a general classroom TA, supporting small groups of children and individual pupils.

Support the delivery of interventions and reinforce learning across the classroom.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent support.

Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and make positive progress.

The Successful Candidate

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, LSA or Learning Support Assistant.

SEN experience is essential.

Confident providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.

Experience supporting children within a KS2 setting is highly desirable.

Able to work effectively with small groups and individual pupils.

Patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with children.

Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting pupils' learning and development.
