Job Description
Systems Trainer
Hybrid role based out of Pity Me, Durham, with travel across North and South sites
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
12 Month FTC
Pertemps are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Northumbrian Water for an experienced and proactive Systems Trainer to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, building strong stakeholder relationships and turning complex systems into practical, easy-to-understand training.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering training across some of Northumbrian Water's most important corporate systems, helping colleagues to use technology effectively and ensuring the business gets the maximum benefit from its systems.
The Role
A key focus of the role will be Maximo, alongside Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFS). While these platforms are critical to day to day operations, there is currently an opportunity to develop a much more structured and consistent training offering.
You will take ownership of designing and delivering engaging training for existing colleagues and, particularly, new starters and new managers. This will include developing structured induction pathways, setting out what users need to learn, when they need to learn it and the resources available to support them.
Training will be delivered both in groups and on a one-to-one basis. The role will involve travelling between Northumbrian Water sites across the North and South, with the flexibility to adapt training around different teams and users.
Key Responsibilities
We're looking for someone who is confident working with a diverse range of people and can build credibility quickly with stakeholders at all levels.
You'll need to be comfortable taking ownership of your workload, organising training across multiple teams and sites, and proactively engaging with managers to get people booked onto the training they need.
Experience & Skills
This is an opportunity to make a real difference to how colleagues across Northumbrian Water use some of the organisation's most important systems.
You'll have the opportunity to build and shape the systems training function, introducing a more structured approach to induction and ongoing learning, while working directly with teams across the organisation.
