Systems Support Analyst (NEC Housing/NEC Assure)

Location: Ipswich (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite)
Contract: 6-Month FTC (Potential for Permanent)
Salary: £36,226

REED Technology are working with a client who are urgently seeking multiple Housing Systems Support Analysts (NEC Housing) to join their internal team. This is a critical role following recent team changes, ensuring continuity of housing systems during a busy period of annual rent increases.

You'll play a key part in maintaining and supporting NEC systems, delivering upgrades, configuration, testing, and helpdesk support, while providing accurate reporting and data analysis for housing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support NEC Housing and/or NEC Assure systems.
  • Assist with system upgrades, configuration, and testing.
  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain reports using SQL, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and Power BI (desirable).
  • Perform advanced data analysis in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query, conditional formatting).
  • Produce reports for government statistics and housing-related queries (eg, damp and mould cases).

Technical Skills

  • NEC Housing experience is essential; NEC Assure also required.
  • Power BI is desirable but not critical.
  • Strong reporting skills for housing data and government compliance.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience with NEC Housing and/or NEC Assure systems.
  • Strong SQL and reporting tool knowledge (Business Objects, Crystal Reports).
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and presentation.
  • Ability to manage upgrades, configuration, and testing.

Desirable

  • Experience with transition from M3 to Assure.
  • Familiarity with Northgate Housing systems.
