Systems Engineer Specialist (eDV mandatory)

Role Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Cheltenham - hybrid working arrangements
• Salary package: £45,000-£85,000 + bonuses (opened to conversations)
• Clearance: eDV active is mandatory

Responsibilities

• Lead the scoping, design and delivery of complex mission-critical systems and services
• Facilitate technical workshops, requirements gathering and risk analysis activities
• Develop engineering approaches and technical designs to mitigate project risks
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
• Oversee project delivery, integration activities and stakeholder engagement
• Produce and maintain key engineering artefacts, documentation and reports

Skills & Experience

• Degree-qualified or equivalent experience in a relevant technical discipline
• Strong background in Systems Engineering, Technical Architecture, Software, Networking or Cyber Security
• Experience delivering complex projects within consultancy, systems integration or public sector environments
• Proven track record supporting defence, government, national security or law enforcement programmes
• Strong understanding of engineering methodologies including Agile, V-Model, risk management and requirements management
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and client-facing skills
