Systems Engineer

For our client, an Energy Trading Company we are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer for a 5 day per week onsite role

4 month contract (probable extension)

Proven track record in Executive Support, Concierge IT, or high-touch Desktop Support role within a corporate environment.
Very customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers
- Good analytical and technical skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Ability and willingness to learn about new technologies and extend the knowledge to different fields
- Good English and German language skills (verbal & writing), French is a plus
- Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and systems (ServiceNow)
- Experience with Microsoft environments (Windows 11, MS Teams, MS 365, Intune, Autopilot, Active Directory)
- Experience with iOS mobile devices (phone and tablet)
- Experience with Video Conferencing systems (preferably MS Teams and Webex)
- Experience with Disc Encryption (preferably BitLocker)
- Experience with phone systems (PBX, IP, Cisco, Jabber, Mobile)
- Experience with VM Ware Horizon VDI and the use of thin clients
- Experience with Identity Management solutions (preferably Okta or Entra ID)
- Good understanding of old, new and emerging technologies
- Experience with basic LAN/WAN support
- Experience with Microsoft Server, VMware ESXi, Backup Solutions and Storage
