Job Description

As a Snr Consultant Systems Architect, you will support the integration execution for our portfolio of companies. You will help drive the design and execution of the Operations & Infrastructure Get to Target State program (G2TS) for our Visa Family of Companies (VFC).

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) team and key stakeholders to understand integration requirements, focusing on both technology and process integrations of the target organization.
  2. Provide expert guidance to the Core team in aligning and migrating Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools and processes. Support the migration and alignment of SSDLC tools across our VFCs and Visa.
  3. Bring knowledge and expertise in SSDLC tools and processes, especially during migration phases.
  4. Coordinate with internal IT teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure successful system, network, data center, and infrastructure integration.
  5. Assess the target companies' technology infrastructure, systems, and operations to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities.
  6. Lead the integration approach for the VFCs, ensuring consistency and efficiency across entities.
  7. Maintain ongoing communication with global technology teams, representing the VFCs' interests and needs.
  8. Partner with Visa technology teams and acquired entities to execute the G2TS plan.
  9. Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and guidelines for the integration process.
  10. Ensure all integration approaches uphold the highest security and reliability standards.
  11. Execute technology and process architecture strategies, roadmaps, and plans for infrastructure and operations during M&A.
  12. Provide guidance on technology and process architecture to stakeholders, project teams, and IT staff.
  13. Collaborate with Visa technology teams and VFC Operations & Infrastructure Leads to troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems, networks, and storage disciplines.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 5 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD, or 11+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 9+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree, or 7+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure components.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in SSDLC practices and tools.
  • Proficiency in migrating and integrating SSDLC tools within large-scale environments.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to support SSDLC tool migration and alignment.
  • Confidence in creating and presenting future state and integration strategies to senior leadership.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience working with Visa processes and technology is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
