Your new role
As a Senior Systems Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the organisation's financial systems landscape. This is a senior, hands-on position responsible for leading the migration from a legacy ERP system to a modern finance platform over a multi-year programme. You will collaborate across Finance, IT, HR, and Operations to streamline processes, enhance data integrity, and improve reporting capabilities.Key responsibilities include:
- Leading ERP system selection, implementation, and integration.
- Managing financial systems operations and upgrades.
- Driving process improvements and automation.
- Ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting business intelligence initiatives using tools like Power BI.
- Providing training and support to finance teams.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- At least 5 years' experience in financial systems or data analysis.
- Proven expertise in SAP FI (ECC6) and large-scale system implementations.
- Strong skills in Power BI and Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
