Are you passionate about testing high-performance avionics and defense systems? Mercury Systems is expanding its test team between Madrid and Geneva, and we're looking for a System Verification Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring safe flight operations and top-tier performance.

In our Madrid office, we specialize in designing and manufacturing mission-critical avionics and defense computers equipped with multiple processors, real-time operating systems, and advanced interfaces such as video, data buses, GPIO, and analogues.


Your Mission

You will be responsible for verification and validation activities, ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. This role requires defining test strategies, writing test cases, developing test scripts and automation tools, and executing formal test runs. Additionally, you will contribute to environmental testing, including temperature, vibration, lightning, and electromagnetic verification.


You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across software, firmware, hardware, and mechanical engineering to drive product excellence.


What You Will Do

  • Define and verify test environments, including testing tools, testbenches, and cable specifications.
  • Write test cases to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Develop test scripts for automated product testing.
  • Perform test campaigns and generate official test reports.
  • Contribute to environmental testing (DO-160, MIL-STD-810, etc.).


Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience in systems test development (preferably in avionics).
  • Software expertise in C, Python, and LUA.
  • Experience with Linux and real-time operating systems.
  • Strong background in high-speed interfaces (GETH, PCIe, HDMI, SATA) and avionics protocols (MIL-1553, ARINC429, CAN).
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment (scopes, analyzers, JTAG probes, etc.).
  • Autonomous, proactive, and skilled in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • 3-5 years of relevant technical experience.
