Job overviewThe SWLEOC Scheduling Team coordinates approximately 450+ surgeries per month, fully utilising six theatres per day, six days a week. The scheduling team have to manage to 55 consultants schedules across the partnership complete nearly 6000 surgeries per year. The SWLEOC Administrative Support Team schedules around 600 virtual nurse appointments and 600 face-to-face Physical assessments each month.
The 2 successful candidate will be adaptable, dependable, resilient, organised, and possess strong communication skills. Candidates will be required to liaise with schedulers, nursing teams, and senior management while effectively prioritising workloads.

Person specification Knowledge- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft packages i.e Word, Excel or other IT packages
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Basic knowledge of confidentiality and data protection
- Understand the principles of equality and diversity
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of the RTT pathway
- Good general education with GCSE or equivalent in English
- NVQ or working towards a NVQ
- Experience of working in administration environment
- Experience working in a customer service setting
- Experience in high pressure role
- Experience of working in hospital or care setting
- Experience using hospital IT packages i.e ICLIP or Bluespier
- Knowledge and awareness of diversity and inclusion
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written to ensure high standards of care or treatment to service users
