On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Luxembourg, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:

SWIFT ISO20022 Expert MT MX securities settlement MT54x, MT103, MT202, collateral, corporate actions (m/f/x) financial institution in Luxembourg

Tasks and responsibilities:

The objective of the engagement is to manage SWIFT Standard Releases and ensure seamless implementation of messaging standards across Securities, Cash, Collateral Lending and Settlement domains, supporting ISO 20022 migration and governance.

• Key Responsibilities:
  SWIFT Standards Management:
  Contribute Business Analysis and SDLC function for SWIFT Standard Release cycles (eg, SR2025), including analysis of impacted message types (MT and MX formats such as sese, semt, setr, colr, reda).
  Maintain compliance with ISO 20022 and Legacy standards (ISO 15022) for securities and cash messaging.
• Message Expertise:
  Deep understanding of SWIFT message categories:
  Securities Settlement: MT54x, sese.020-042
  Securities Trade: setr.027, setr.030, setr.044
  Cash Transfers: MT103, MT202, pacs series
  Collateral & Corporate Actions: colr, semt series
• Governance & MyStandards:
  Manage MyStandards portal updates, validation rules, and portal packs.
  Ensure proper documentation and communication of changes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Project & Release Coordination:
  Drive change requests (CRs) related to SWIFT releases, liaising with product owners, IT, and operations.
  Support go-live activities, monitoring, and post-release issue resolution.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Act as the subject matter expert for SWIFT messaging across Product Management, Operations, and IT Architecture teams.
  Provide guidance on connectivity (SWIFTNet FIN, APIs) and integration with settlement engines.

Mandatory skills and experiences:

• Technical Expertise:
  Strong knowledge of SWIFT FIN and ISO 20022 message structures and validation.
  Familiarity with securities life cycle: settlement, clearing, custody, and cash management.
• Tools & Platforms:
  Experience with MyStandards, SWIFT, and related testing frameworks.
• Regulatory & Market Knowledge:

Understanding of T2S, ICSD processes, and global market practices.

• Soft Skills:
  Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
6- 7+ years in SWIFT messaging or financial market infrastructure roles.
Exposure to ISO 20022 migration programs and SWIFT Standard Release management.
Knowledge of settlement engines and collateral management systems.
Proficiency in written and spoken English
