SW Area Administrative Assistant (Community Safety)

Post: Area Administrative Assistant (Community Safety)

Salary: £31,132 per annum

Grade: FRS B

Salary range: £31,132 - £36,723 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Working pattern: Full-time

Location: Hammersmith

Responsibilities

Duties will include liaison with members of the public, other agencies and operational personnel on a daily basis; maintaining detailed administrative systems. The role requires experience in office administrative duties, including writing correspondence, using computerised office systems, checking work for errors, producing statistics and dealing with customers. The ability to communicate professionally and work as part of a team in a helpful and co operative manner.

Assessment Overview
  • Experience of using standard computerised office systems and specialised computer databases, and understanding their role in an office environment.
  • Experience of organising, planning and prioritising own work; meeting deadlines and targets while working flexibly within a team.
  • The ability to communicate with people in a professional and helpful manner to exchange information and offer advice and assistance.
  • A thorough understanding of one's individual responsibility with regard to health and safety practice in the workplace.
Requirements / Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in office administration, including correspondence writing, computerised systems usage, error checking, statistic production and customer service.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.

Basic health and safety awareness in a workplace.
