Sustainability Compliance and Risk Lead This is a great job for someone with a strong understanding of sustainability regulation-particularly in the UK and EU-who is ready to take a step up into a role that blends strategic insight with legal and risk expertise. A bit about the job: We are seeking a Sustainability Regulation, Legal and Risk Manager to support the successful delivery of our sustainability strategy-an essential differentiator for Aviva Investors. This role is pivotal in ensuring a robust and coordinated approach to regulatory, legal, and risk matters within the Sustainable Investing function, helping the business maintain risk within tolerance. Responsibilities will include providing detailed insights into sustainability regulation, overseeing institutional regulatory reporting, managing sustainability policies (including our baseline exclusions policy), contributing to legal documentation such as prospectuses, and supporting key aspects of our risk management framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK and EU sustainability regulation and the ability to deepen their knowledge of our internal policies. This role requires a responsible, proportionate, and risk-aware approach to compliance, clear articulation of sustainability activity through legal documentation, and the integration of sustainability considerations into the broader business risk framework.
