The position


As a Survivability Analysis Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Key Responsibilities


You will play a key part in the development, engineering, and testing of lightweight composite structures with integrated ballistic protection for defense platforms. Your work will directly contribute to innovative survivability solutions used across various platforms and programs.


  • Develop, implement, and verify technical solutions for survivability and protection systems.
  • Create and maintain compliance documentation aligned with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and solve technical problems, integrating solutions effectively.
  • Design and support engineering tools and simulation models for ballistic protection development.
  • Define methods, plans, and toolsets appropriate for achieving program objectives.
  • Contribute technical input for bids and proposals during program acquisition phases.
  • Assess and mitigate technical risks related to your work package.
  • Support and generate test plans, specifications, and analysis to demonstrate compliance.
  • Design for manufacturability and cost, applying DFMA principles where applicable.
  • Deliver high-quality engineering documentation, reports, and project deliverables.
  • Participate in technical reviews, customer meetings, and formal design gate reviews.
  • Resolve non-conformities through root cause analysis and engineering solutions.
  • Coach and support other engineers through peer reviews and technical mentoring.
  • Contribute to improvements in processes, work instructions, and engineering practices.
  • Liaise with manufacturing engineering during prototype and serial production stages.
  • Understand and support qualification and certification processes for relevant products.


What you bring to the position


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Analysis Engineering, ideally within the Aerospace or Defense sectors.
  • Knowledge of fiber-reinforced composite materials (mandatory).
  • Experience or familiarity with ballistic protection technologies and small-caliber threat modeling (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
  • Capable of holding engineering check/approval status (or working toward it).
  • Skilled in preparing and communicating complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to engage in technical discussions with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with product qualification, certification, and compliance documentation processes.
