Job Description
Established in 2009, Contract Production are based in Pickering, and we are now one of the leading UK based sub-contract electronics manufacturers in the UK. We provide a range of high-quality electronics production services, including PCB assembly and testing, box build and BGA placement to a wide variety of customers. As a business we continue to grow year on year and have ambitious growth plans for the next 5 years.
You will be required work as part of a team on the SMT line producing populated PCB assemblies to timescales and quality levels determined by procedures and customer instructions every time. This will involve several procedures including the preparation of the stencil and printing equipment, completing batches of customer PCB assemblies, in-line inspection of quality and process consistency.
Ideally you will have prior experience of working within the SMT industry along with experience of soldering through hole and SMD's and running Pick and Place equipment or relatable machinery skills.
A technical mind, adaptability, a keen eye for detail and high levels of dexterity are also vital for this role.
It would be beneficial if you have experience or a good understanding of engineering diagrams, for example Gerber files, 3rd angle projection drawings, PDF etc.
