What's the role?

You might have just finished your Health and Social care training. You may be an experienced support worker or perhaps you are willing to learn and share your experiences. Your salary and training will be based on where you are in your career. Your salary increases with training too!This role requires you to be working at a Level 2 in Health and Social Care. If you do not have this qualification, we can develop you through an apprenticeship. We just need your desire to sign up!

The role also requires a driver. To drive our vehicles, applicants will need to have held a full UK driving licence for at least two years and be 21 years old or over (this post is only available to drivers with the required credentials. This is a genuine occupational requirement as permitted under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010).

There's no getting away from it, this job isn't easy- nothing worth doing is. You'll be providing support to vulnerable people with learning disabilities.People who are used to working with learning disabilities are great candidates, as are those with the right attitude and aptitude.

This role will give you the chance to make a positive impact in the lives of those we support.That said, it just might be the most rewarding job on the local market today.
