Are you a compassionate and reliable Support Worker looking for flexible agency work with a trusted care and support provider? We are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join our team in Caerphilly, supporting adults with a range of care and support needs across various settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person centred support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, promoting wellbeing and reducing social isolation.
• Support individuals to maintain their independence by assisting with community access, appointments, and social activities.
• Safely assist with mobility and Moving & Handling tasks in accordance with care plans and best practice guidelines.
• Support individuals who may present with challenging behaviours, responding calmly, professionally, and appropriately.
• Encourage and empower service users to achieve their personal goals, maximise independence, and enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain accurate records and promptly report any concerns regarding health, wellbeing, or safeguarding.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 6 months' UK based care or support work experience.
• An All Wales Manual Handling Passport is desirable but not essential.
• A caring, patient, and professional approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering high quality care and support.
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts to meet service needs.
