At Active Care in the Home, we're proud to be part of one of the UK's leading providers of complex care and right now, we're looking for a dedicated male Support Worker to join our client's well established support team.

The Role As Support Worker, you'll play a key role in providing high quality, person centred care in our client's own home. Every day is different, from supporting with personal care, medication, and clinical tasks, to joining our client on trips out in the community.

In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero hours contract as care packages can change.

Working Hours

Full time and part time options available. Mix of days (8 am 8 pm) and wake nights (8 pm 8 am) with occasional sleep ins. Flexibility is key to supporting the client's lifestyle.

What We're Looking For
  • A compassionate, reliable, and proactive individual
  • Good sense of humour
  • Confident driver (ideal you'll be driving the client's vehicle)
  • Experience in care; spinal cord injury knowledge is a plus but not essential
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • Great at being organised and on time
  • Passion for empowering others to live independently
