The post holder will be part of the Finance team within Planning, Transport & Environment, supporting Highways, Transport & Civil Parking Enforcement.
Accountable to the Section Leader for monitoring, allocating and reporting on the financial activity of the enforcement service, including the enforcement and parking revenue accounts and associated capital accounts, and for assisting in the preparation of the financial content of the annual report.
Managing the general administrative needs of the PTE Finance, including raising purchase orders, external bills and payment of invoices, and providing advice and support on Council financial procedures and regulations.
The successful candidate will have experience working with financial systems (preferably SAP) and an understanding of financial control and procedures.

- Experience with financial systems such as SAP.
- Knowledge of financial control & procedures.

Duration and EligibilityThis is a temporary post until 2 August 2027. The position is suitable for post share and accepts applications in both English and Welsh; applications in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than English applications.
The role is suitable for internal candidates who wish to apply for secondment; approval prior to application is required using Form SEC1 (4.C.081) and must be approved by the relevant Director/Assistant Director/Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 (or Headteacher/Governing Body for school-based staff).
