Job Description

We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Yorkshire Water, supporting them in proactively and reactively maintaining their Wastewater Network for the next five years and beyond!

We are currently recruiting for a Support Driver to join our team in Yorkshire, you will be supporting the on site operations by collecting and delivering equipment and materials throughout Bradford Area. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group.

About the role
  • Location: Bradford Yorkshire.
  • Hours: 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm with a paid lunch). Overtime also available at time and a half.
  • Salary: To be discussed

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Operations on site with various tasks throughout the region such as collecting and delivering equipment to and from site from various locations as required.
  • Driving a company vehicle - up to 3.5 Tonne (Van, Flatbed etc)
  • Communicating with Civils crews regarding any issues that require attention and assisting with the loading and offloading of vans
  • Updating and completing site documentation using electronic tablet
  • Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness
  • Wearing and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment
Experience and Qualifications
  • Full UK driving license (Required)
