Support cloud engineer

We are currently looking for a cloud engineer, as a Cloud Engineer within Cloud Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products operate reliably and efficiently within the IBM Cloud environment. You'll gain an in-depth understanding of SAP's infrastructure on IBM Cloud while contributing to the design and operation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.

What you'll do:

• Deployment Automation: Streamline and automate deployment processes by utilizing modern CI/CD frameworks and tooling tailored for IBM Cloud.
• Build System Innovation: Enhance and optimize build systems, actively shaping the evolution of our continuous integration pipelines for IBM Cloud deployments.
• Feature Development: Collaborate on the design and implementation of new features, ensuring seamless integration into production systems with a focus on performance and reliability on IBM Cloud.
• Tooling and Monitoring: Develop and improve tools for cloud observability, SLA monitoring, and incident management specifically within IBM Cloud.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, and cloud service management teams to deliver impactful solutions and support SAP's global operations on IBM Cloud.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting public cloud environments such as IBM, AWS, GCP, or Azure, including Azure Active Directory.
• Expertise in automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC), with practical knowledge of Terraform to build scalable, governed solutions.
• Strong Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operations and enhance deployment workflows.
• CI/CD proficiency, particularly with GitHub Actions, and a solid grasp of version control, code reviews, and clean Scripting practices using GitHub.
• Understanding of cloud identity services and federation, contributing to secure and seamless access management.
• Experience in Agile environment
• Fluent English: Proficiency in English enables clear communication with global stakeholders and team members
