Job Description

Hiring: Support & Engineering Manager
£40,000 - £45,000 DOE

West Yorkshire

Full time and Hybrid

My client have been helping businesses across Yorkshire and the UK stay connected for over 40 years - delivering first-class telecoms, IT, and workplace infrastructure solutions.

They are looking for a hands-on leader to head up our technical support and engineering teams.

This isn't just about managing - it's about rolling up your sleeves, leading from the front, and making sure their customers get the very best service, every single day.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and develop a talented team of support desk and field engineers
  • Be the senior point of contact for critical incidents and escalations
  • Maintain high technical standards across IT, networking, security, VoIP & more
  • Drive security best practices and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Balance leadership with hands-on technical problem-solving

  • Experience managing technical teams in an MSP or fast-paced IT environment
  • Strong technical understanding across infrastructure, networking, security & telephony
  • Calm under pressure, people-first mindset, and a collaborative approach
  • Great communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
