This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs.As a SEND Monitoring and Review Officer you will play a vital role in ensuring that Education, Health and Care Plans continue to meet the needs of children and young people through effective monitoring and annual review processes. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of EHCP annual reviews. Ensuring reviews are completed within statutory timescales and in accordance with SEND legislation. Reviewing information provided by schools, parents, carers, and professionals to support informed decision-making. Monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of EHCP provision and outcomes. Managing and monitoring Personal Budget cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local authority policies. Liaising with educational settings, families, and multi-agency professionals throughout the review process. Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services for children and young people with SEND. Skills/Experience Experience working within a SEND service, particularly in relation to EHCP annual reviews, monitoring, review processes, and Personal Budgets. Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant SEND legislation. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and work to statutory deadlines. A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
