Job Description

Location: Windsor - Hybrid 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £38,000-40,000 plus excellent benefits package

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Supply Planner to join our growing supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys working across suppliers, manufacturing, demand planning, and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a key role within the S&OP process, ensuring the business maintains the correct inventory levels to support customer demand while balancing stock investment, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain supply plans in line with customer demand forecasts and business requirements
  • Play a key role in the S&OP process, providing accurate supply and inventory insights
  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure supply plans are aligned to business needs
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability while minimising excess and obsolete stock
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring service, quality, and delivery expectations are achieved
  • Monitor supplier performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required
  • Lead supplier review meetings and performance discussions
  • Identify potential supply chain constraints and develop contingency plans to minimise disruption
  • Analyse inventory, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance data to drive continuous improvement
  • Support business growth by ensuring supply chain capability can meet future demand requirements
Key Skills/Experience
  • Previous experience in a Supply Planner, Supply Chain Planner or Inventory Planner
  • Strong understanding of S&OP and integrated business planning processes
  • Experience working closely with suppliers and manufacturing operations
  • Proven ability to manage inventory levels and stock optimisation strategies
  • Experience managing supplier performance and service related issues
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast paced and changing environment
