Job Description

Hi All, We are looking for a Supply Chain Operations specialist/coordinator to join an exciting project at a global and prominent Fashion and Retail client for a project in the Netherlands

Industry Background: Retail experience required or experience in related Supply chain industries

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Product & Inventory Flow: Ensure inventory is delivered to the right store at the right time, optimizing outbound flows from the Distribution Center.
  • Order & Shipment Management: Oversee product planning and shipments for a specific region, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to franchise stores.
  • Replenishment Strategy: Utilize replenishment systems to maintain optimal inventory levels and support continuous operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Planning, Distribution, Transportation, and Store teams to align on strategy and execution.
  • Performance Analysis: Consolidate and analyze sales, inventory, and location-based performance to identify profit opportunities.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Build strong relationships with partners and store teams to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Project Leadership: Lead small-scale improvement initiatives and act as a change agent for transformation efforts.
  • Markdown & Scenario Planning: Develop markdown strategies and support seasonal transitions and key retail events.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in Supply Chain Operations, preferably in a corporate setting (store-level experience also considered).
  • Good experience, knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Operations and processes
  • Proven ability to work in a Matrix organization and collaborate cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in project work, particularly in KPI improvement, is a strong plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience with data-related responsibilities is advantageous.
  • Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with order book management is a plus.
  • Must-have tools: SAP, Excel (good to have: Tableau, Cognos (reporting)
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, energetic, and proactive, Team player and Proactive

Contract Details:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Location: Amsterdam- Hybrid
  • Duration: 10months + with extensions
