Are you an experienced Supply Chain professional looking to join a growing manufacturing business where you can make a real impact? We are working with a well-established UK manufacturer that is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner on a 18-month fixed term basis.

  • Develop and maintain material supply plans using forecasts, production schedules, and MRP systems to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries, and resolve potential supply issues to minimize disruption.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identifying opportunities to reduce excess stock while maintaining service levels.
  • Work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to support manufacturing schedules and business objectives.
  • Track supply chain performance, maintain accurate planning records, and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Supply Chain Planner Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Supply Chain Planner, Materials Planner, or similar planning role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and MRP/ERP systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
