Job DescriptionAssystem Energy & Infrastructure is recruiting several Supply Chain Planners to work at the Rolls Royce site in Derby on a contract basis.
The role involves managing the delivery of your designated portfolio, acting as a single point of contact, and ensuring on-time delivery through effective planning while maintaining ERP and supporting systems. You will identify, prioritize, mitigate, and resolve delivery issues within your team.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Producing credible plans to meet customer demands, considering inventory, logistics, and storage.
- Ensuring pre-production activities are completed to maintain accurate and robust supply data, and rectifying inaccuracies when necessary.
- Managing supply chain order books and project plans, making balanced decisions to support business priorities and customer satisfaction.
- Understanding load and capacity factors that could impact supply chain delivery and implementing mitigations.
- Optimizing inventory and logistics across the value stream while minimizing delivery risks and costs.
- Providing robust responses to Sales and Operations Planning questions through the Demands Management process.
- Participating in business and operational reviews to assess capability, and managing actions to mitigate risks and issues.
- Adhering to relevant policies and procedures, including RRMS.
Key Experiences and Qualifications
- Experience in supply chain planning and control is essential.
- Knowledge of managing load and capacity.
- Ability to manage deliveries and make balanced decisions under challenging circumstances.
- Understanding of roles, functions, and processes such as Manufacturing, Purchase, NPI, and Quality.
- Responsibility for personal development.
- Experience with MRP and/or ERP systems.
- Ability to influence others.
Security Clearance
This role requires a minimum of Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats. Due to security requirements, candidates must be UK nationals or, in MoD-approved cases, dual nationals from non-ITAR countries.
