Job Description
Supply Chain Planner (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves demand forecasting, inventory management, and ensuring smooth supply chain operations to meet business and customer needs.


What we're looking for:
  • An excellent team player
  • Experience using SAP
  • A good understanding of relevant business processes, e.g., Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety
  • Highly numerate with good product knowledge
  • Customer-focused and aware of customer needs
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills
  • Experience using MS Office packages, especially Outlook and Excel
Key responsibilities:
  • Master data monitoring and maintenance (BoMs, routings, vendor master, ICD lead times, distribution lead times)
  • Ensure that a valid MPS and Materials Plan exist with no past due orders
  • Control of BoMs and stocks to minimize stock write-offs
  • Coordinate inventory accuracy of components (cycle counting) aiming for at least 95% accuracy
  • Liaise with Hull and Darwen planning teams to ensure timely availability of BOM components for plan and schedule adherence above 95%
  • Coordinate with production and scheduling to ensure finished product availability, achieving plan and schedule adherence above 95%
  • Work with suppliers to meet OTIF requirements, aiming for vendor rating above 98.5%
