The appointment of a Supply Chain Officer will be an essential role at Rolls Royce SMR to provide day to day support across customer programme activities.

You will be reporting to our Supply Chain Manager and your role will look like,

Responsibilities

• Assist Supply Chain Managers with governance, planning, procurement administration and contract deliverables
• Support procurement and supply chain activities across multiple customer workstreams
• Coordinate planning activities, customer approval processes and contract governance requirements
• Assist with bid documentation, tender responses and procurement strategy development
• Maintain documentation, deliverables and stakeholder communications in line with contract and document control requirements

We seek a collaborative and proactive individual who will have had exposure in regulated or safety critical environments (as you would expect nuclear "know how" will be of great interest to us, whilst those from defence, aerospace and manufacturing sectors may all have transferable capability).

Key Experience Requirements

We will need your application to showcase your experience and knowledge in the following areas:

• Exposure to Supply Chain, Procurement or Purchasing environments
• Experience supporting projects, deliverables or multiple concurrent activities
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities effectively
• Strong attention to detail and administrative capability
• Confidence interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities effectively

Location & Working Arrangements

This role can be based from our Derby, Manchester or Warrington office. Hybrid working is standard.

Rewards & Benefits

• A salary between £42,00 and £55,150 depending on experience
• 12.5% performance related bonus
• A benefits allowance of £2,200 to build a personalised package
• Pension - 12% employer, 6% employee
• Holidays - 28 days + public holidays (option to buy/sell up to 4 days)

• Life Assurance - 6 pensionable pay £250
• one-off home office setup payment

Pay Range: £42,000.00 - £55,125.00

Our Application Process

Due to the safety regulations within the nuclear industry, applicants will be required to participate in additional screening. These are:

• Obtaining Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
• Satisfactory completion of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
