Supply Chain Manager

This position will initially be offered as a 1-year fixed-term contract, with the intention to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Avendra International is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Supply Chain Manager to oversee supplier management and category strategy across Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead category strategy: Analyse market trends and customer needs to develop strategies that drive cost efficiency, quality, and innovation across your categories.
• Manage supplier relationships: Build strong supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, and ensure performance aligns with business goals and customer expectations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with teams across marketing, sales, operations, and finance to ensure supply chain strategies support overall business success.
• Deliver market intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments to keep our supply chain agile and competitive.
• Analyse data and performance: Use data to monitor KPIs, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions that enhance supply chain performance.

- Strong communicator and negotiator

- Organised, analytical, and commercially focused
- Confident interpreting data and managing supplier performance
Personal Qualities
- Professional, flexible, and reliable
- Fluent in Dutch and English (French and/or German is a plus)
- Willingness to travel to the office 1x/week
- Willing to travel occasionally within Benelux and France
Experience & Motivation
- 1-3 years in a similar supply chain or procurement role
- Experience in hospitality or managed services is a plus
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to excellence
