The Job

A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Inventory Analyst to support a critical site transition project on a 12 month contract. This role is essential in ensuring business continuity during the transfer of packaging operations between international manufacturing sites.

This is a hands on, project focused position requiring strong analytical skills and cross functional collaboration. You will manage inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and coordinate system updates to support a seamless transition of production activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor "bridge stock" levels and track depletion rates of legacy inventory
  • Coordinate the transfer of Finished Goods, working closely with logistics and quality teams
  • Ensure stock release aligns with required system updates
  • Facilitate communication between distribution centres, manufacturing sites, supply planners, and local affiliates
  • Provide clear timelines and updates to stakeholders regarding inventory transitions
  • Perform regular inventory reconciliations and publish weekly status updates
  • Track and manage inventory lifecycle using FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles
  • Identify and elevate risks related to short dated or excess stock
  • Support compliance with internal controls and operational standards
  • Produce daily "Stock at Risk" reports for project governance teams
  • Monitor Days on Hand (DOH) to prevent overstocking or supply gaps
  • Maintain and update inventory tracking dashboards (Excel) for real time visibility
  • Analyse inventory data to support decision making during the transition
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Management
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or medical device environments is an advantage
  • Strong ERP experience (SAP or similar systems preferred)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query)
  • Proven ability to analyse and reconcile large datasets
