We are seeking a Supply Chain professional to join a growing External Manufacturing team supporting a network of contract manufacturing partners across Europe and global markets.
This is not a traditional planning role. Instead, you will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners, ensuring supplier relationships, transactions, and day-to-day operations run smoothly in a highly regulated environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with external manufacturing partners and contract manufacturers (CMOs).
Support day-to-day supplier communication and issue resolution.
Create, monitor, and resolve purchase orders and supplier transactions.
Support invoice resolution and transaction flow with suppliers and internal finance teams.
Coordinate activities across Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Labelling, and Finance functions.
Escalate and help resolve supplier performance and operational issues.
Maintain accurate supplier documentation and ERP system records.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the external manufacturing network.
Ensure activities are performed in accordance with company procedures and compliance requirements.
RequirementsExperience within Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Management, External Manufacturing, or Operations.
Experience managing supplier relationships and stakeholder communications.
Exposure to purchase orders, invoices, procurement transactions, or supplier administration.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to resolution.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Exposure to contract manufacturers (CMOs/CDMOs).
Understanding of outsourced manufacturing models.
Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Finance, or Manufacturing teams.
