To support this we are looking for a proactive supplier management co-ordinator to join on a 12-month fixed term basis to support our ESG initiatives in our supply chain.
The core focus for this role will be to engage and support our suppliers to assess, manage and reduce carbon emissions. This will require collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to track emissions data and drive supplier alignment with our environmental targets. You will play a key role in supporting our net zero ambitions by driving meaningful ESG improvements across the supply chain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building trusted relationships and making a meaningful impact through sustainability.
The job
Reporting to the Supplier Management Lead, on a day-to-day basis, you'll be involved in the following:
Support the adoption of global carbon reduction and ESG ensuring we drive sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement across our supplier relationships and contracts.
Work closely with Business Contract Owners and ESG Subject Matter Experts to ensure comprehensive environmental and social impact reviews are undertaken, compliance with ESG standards is met, key sustainability risks are identified, and mitigating actions are embedded into our Critical, Strategic, and Key Operational Supplier ESG Plans.
Manage regular ESG dashboard reporting and governance to showcase our sustainability journey, carbon footprint reduction, responsible sourcing practices, and the integration of ESG metrics into procurement oversight.
Lead the development of ESG Supplier Plan's, offering guidance and support to Business Contract Owners and Suppliers to ensure ESG targets, including emissions reductions and social impact goals, are current and aligned with ACCA's sustainability strategy.
Act as the key point of contact for escalation for supplier relationships ESG risks, supporting Business Contract Owners in driving corrective actions and improvements.
The person
We're looking for someone who:
Able to build good working relationships (challenge and support), negotiate and influence across the organisation and ACCA's Critical, Strategic, and key Operational suppliers
Ability to Innovate and generate ideas on how we do things to improve how we deliver (continuous improvement)
Good numeracy and analytical skills to actively interrogate and present data in a meaningful format. Good Excel, PowerPoint knowledge, ESG Tooling experience . Power BI proficiency is desirable
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced, fast-changing, and high-pressure environment
Extremely well organized, analytical, and resilient to pressure.
